Nathaniel has worked in the computer support field for ten years. He started as a computer technician at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. He then went to work for the Office of Information Services for the state of Oregon. Nathaniel moved to Indiana in June of 2000, where he worked as a computer support technician at DePauw University. After joining the Information Technology staff, DePauw was recognzied as the 3rd Most Connected Campus in America by the Princeton Review and Ranked 30th among the Top 50 Most Unwired College Campuses by U.S. News & World Report. The Information Technology Department was awarded the 2003 EDUCAUSE Award for Systemic Progres in Teaching and Learning, a 2003 Mira Award from TechPoint and was named a New Media Center by the New Media Consortium. Individually, Nathaniel was awarded DePauw's 361 Top Innovator Award in 2002 for his work with online support initiatives. In July of 2006 Nathaniel moved to South Carolina and now works as an Information Technology Specialist at Wofford College. Nathaniel also ran the weekly UniversityTech podcast, focusing on technology in education with more than 180,000 downloads during its run, from listeners all over the world. Nathaniel is CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified.
